CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER / PROGRAMMER:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The control systems engineer / programmer will perform detailed design engineering of control systems and instrumentation for industrial and municipal customers. This includes the specification of equipment, purchasing assistance, field documentation of existing systems, close communications with customer personnel, the creation of detailed design drawings and documents for construction and future maintenance, and programming of PLC, DCS, HMI and related equipment. Additionally, candidate will be able to participate in the design of low-voltage AC and DC power distribution systems, project engineering functions such as scheduling, estimating, tracking, and communications, and occasional marketing efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university
  • 5 to 15 years experience as a Control Systems Engineer in an industrial setting
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Valid drivers license
  • Willing participation in customer-required drug and alcohol testing program which includes pre- employment screening and random testing
  • Ability to mobilize throughout industrial facilities, including climbing stairs and ladders, negotiating narrow walkways, climbing over piping and other obstacles, walking long distances, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
  • PLC and/or DCS control system programming experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and other common office software
  • Working knowledge of common control systems drawings and documentation, such as electrical plans and elevations, conduit and cable schedules, instrument plans, control cabinet layouts and details, wiring diagrams, schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs, instrument lists, instrument specification sheets, motor lists, controls narratives, etc.
  • Traveling out of town (typically less than 10%, but could be more for specific project needs)

JOB PREFERENCES:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The electrical engineer will perform detailed design engineering of electrical distribution systems for industrial and municipal customers. This includes the specification of equipment, purchasing assistance, field documentation of existing systems, close communications with customer personnel, the creation of detailed electrical design drawings and documents for construction and future maintenance, electrical studies for both new and existing systems, and programming of protection relays, VFDs, and related equipment. Additionally, candidate will be able to participate in the design of industrial control systems, project engineering functions such as scheduling, estimating, tracking, and communications, and occasional marketing efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 5 to 15 years experience as an Electrical Engineer in an industrial setting
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Valid drivers license
  • Willing participation in customer-required drug and alcohol testing program which includes pre-employment screening and random testing

  • Ability to mobilize throughout industrial facilities, including climbing stairs and ladders, negotiating narrow walkways, climbing over piping and other obstacles, walking long distances, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
  • Experienced with AutoCAD 2005 or later version
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and other common office software
  • Working knowledge of common electrical systems drawings and documentation, such as electrical plans and elevations, conduit and cable schedules, one-line diagrams, MCC and switchgear layouts and details, electrical panel schedules, wiring diagrams, motor-control and other schematics, P&IDs, lighting plans, heat-trace diagrams, motor lists, instrument plans, control cabinet layouts and details, wiring diagrams, schematics, loop diagrams, P&IDs, instrument lists, instrument specification sheets, etc.

PIPING & STRUCTURAL DESIGNER / DRAFTER:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The piping and structural designer / drafter will perform detailed design and/or drafting of piping, mechanical equipment, and structural supports for industrial and municipal customers. This includes field documentation of existing systems, close communications with project engineer(s) and customer personnel, the creation of detailed mechanical, process, and structural design drawings and documents for construction and future maintenance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree in drafting, engineering technology, or related field
  • 5 to 15 years experience as a Piping & Structural Designer / Drafter in an industrial setting
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Valid drivers license
  • Willing participation in customer-required drug and alcohol testing program which includes pre-employment screening and random testing
  • Ability to mobilize throughout industrial facilities, including climbing stairs and ladders, negotiating narrow walkways, climbing over piping and other obstacles, walking long distances, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.

PROJECT MANAGER:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The project manager will oversee the detailed design engineering of multi-discipline projects for industrial and municipal customers. This includes marketing, proposals, scheduling, estimating, tracking, management of personnel, primary communications with both customers and company project engineering, design/drafting, and administrative personnel, and detailed design functions within areas of expertise.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Structural, or Process Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 10 to 20 years experience as a Project Engineer/Manager in an industrial setting
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Valid drivers license
  • Willing participation in customer-required drug and alcohol testing program which includes pre-employment screening and random testing
  • Ability to mobilize throughout industrial facilities, including climbing stairs and ladders, negotiating narrow walkways, climbing over piping and other obstacles, walking long distances, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and other common office software
  • Working knowledge of all common engineering drawings and documentation
  • Traveling out of town (typically less than 15%, but could be more for specific project needs)
