About Us



Who are we? Beartooth Engineering Resources, Inc. (BERI) is an industrial consulting engineering firm based in Billings, Montana which was started by John D. Baretta, P.E. and his wife, Jennifer, in 2003. John has 20+ years of experience as an Electrical and Control Systems Engineer graduating from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. We are a privately held Montana corporation (S-Corp) that is 100% woman-owned. Our team of engineers and designers are experienced and seasoned individuals in the field, with each member having at least 15 years of professional experience.

Our experienced staff consisting of Control Systems, Electrical, Mechanical and Structural Engineers along with Programmers, Designers, and Drafters work together to ensure the production of top-quality engineering deliverables. We use the most up to date technology and software systems for your projects. We believe that tailoring our work to meet our clients’ specific needs is as important as delivering on time and on budget.
